I am working to develop a commercial business outreach plan to retailers, starting with a strategic communication position. The Program commits significant resources to grant-making within its Agricultural Development Initiative.
“Good, better, best” White Paper for the New Business Models Project led by the Sustainable Food Laboratory
The paper will describe good practice in relationships between retailers and NGOs. It is building on work previously done by postgraduate students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard School of Government.
“Regoverning Markets Revisited” White Paper for the International Institute for the Environment and Development
Regoverning Markets was a global project that considered the impact of retailers on market access for small producers. Through a series of interviews, their conclusions will be brought up todate.
“Measure What Matters” White Paper for Pulse Canada, Grain Council of Canada and Canadian Canola Council
These Trade associations represent Canada’s world leading growers and exporters. They have commissioned a paper on the measurement of sustainability in agriculture and the labelling implications for world markets.
